The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Türkiye expresses its deepest appreciation to the Communist Party of Türkiye (TKP) for its recent public statement of solidarity with the Cuban people and government, on the occasion of the debate held at the United Nations General Assembly on the resolution calling for an end to the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
The TKP, faithful to its internationalist tradition, has once again condemned this unjust and inhumane policy, which for more than six decades has sought to starve our people into submission, and has reiterated its support for Cuba’s right to determine freely and sovereignly its own destiny.
Cuba deeply values this fraternal and supportive gesture, which reflects the historic bonds of friendship and mutual respect between our peoples and governments, and which strengthens the spirit of cooperation and unity among those who struggle for justice, dignity, and independence.
