Cairo, November 24, 2025. Cuba will be represented by the feature film Habanastation at the Latin American and Caribbean film festival to be held at the Sadat Institute in Cairo from November 23 to December 8.
Ten countries are participating in the film festival, which is organized each year by the Latin American and Caribbean embassies accredited in Egypt, with films that showcase the culture and reality of our nations, which will contribute to a greater understanding of our peoples by the Egyptians who will attend the screenings.
Habanastation is a multi-award-winning Cuban feature film from 2011, directed by Ian Padrón and starring child actors from the children's theater company La Colmenita. The film has received several awards at major festivals worldwide. (Embacuba Egipto)
