For their part, first-year students recited verses from the poem “La Niña de Guatemala” (The Girl from Guatemala) by our national hero José Martí, while students from other years presented projects on Cuba and its traditions.
The friendly exchange highlighted the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between Cuba and Egypt, as well as the high degree of agreement on the main issues on the international agenda, including support for the Palestinian cause.
Cuba, with its rich cultural heritage and resilient spirit, and Egypt, the cradle of civilizations, have cultivated a relationship of mutual respect and exchange in areas such as education, culture, sports, and science. (Embacuba Egipto)
