Dear Ambassador,

OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES AND SOLIDARITY -

On behalf of the Saint Lucia-Cuba Friendship Association, I wish to extend our deepest condolences and
solidarity to the Government and People of Cuba on the death of the thirty-two Cuban soldiers who were
killed during the US attacked on Venezuela on Saturday, January 3, 2026 and the  kidnapping  of the
Venezuelan    President, Nicolas Maduro and his wife.

While words may not ease your pain or truly express our profound sadness at this time, we wish to extend
our deepest condolences to the people of Cuba and the families of the thirty-two soldiers who lost their
lives while on solidarity duties. Rest assured of our prayers at this time of mourning and  wish the Cuban
people courage and strength at this challenging time.

We also take this opportunity to reaffirm our unwavering commitment and deep solidarity with the people
of Cuba and strongly condemns the unjust and illegal blockade against Cuba and the recent hostility and
cruel US military aggression against the people of Venezuela.

Please convey our deepest sympathies to the Government and people of Cuba and the family of the Cuban
soldiers.

Yours sincerely
