Ambassador of Cuba in Singapore, Lisbet Quesada Luna, joined today the Afro Cuban Domingos event organized from Timba Tropical team, with the participation of singaporeans, foreigners and cubans.
It was a great cuban culture events that convined the energy and love for Cuban culture with the sincere solidarity with Cuba.
On behalf of the Cuban people, Ambassador expressed the gratitude for the support of the "Medicines for Cuba" initiative, launched by the Timba Tropical group for the first time in Singapore, to be donated to hospitals in Cuba.
The Cuban diplomat explained that, now more than ever, it is essential to support and show solidarity with Cuba as we face an unprecedented intensification of the illegal, unjust, and unjustified blockade imposed by the U.S. government against our country. Every gesture of solidarity is helps us confront this adverse period, from which we will emerge stronger.
"Cuba and Cubans represent no threat to anyone. The only thing we have done since the Triumph of the Revolution is spread our solidarity throughout the world," she concluded.
The collected medicines will be delivered to hospitals through the #Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, by members of Timba Tropical soon.
