The measure adopted by the #US government on January 29, based on the fallacy of an alleged threat to the US national security, whereby it threatens to impose punitive tariffs on those countries that export fuel to #Cuba, poses a challenge of huge proportions to all States.
It is about limiting, through absurd pretexts, the sovereign prerogative of every country when deciding whether or not they would export and to what destinations they would export their national patrimonial products to.
Who would be able to assure what is the limit of that faculty which, with an aggression against Cuba, is now vested upon the United States? Could anyone disregard the possibility that, someday, the US may impose tariffs on any country importing soybean, corn, graphite, cars, planes or any other commodity from any market that may compete with the US market in the production and export of those products?
