Islamabad, 24 February 2026. On Tuesday, Cuban Ambassador Damián Cordero Torres received Shireen Fatima and Silvia Berta, coordinator and assistant, respectively, of the Spanish Department of the prestigious University of Modern Languages, located in this capital, at the Embassy headquarters.
Both representatives of the institution expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to explain the importance of the ‘Spring Festival’ to be held in April, as well as the call to diplomatic missions for cultural contributions. During the exchange, it was gratifying to hear their recognition of Cuba, not only for its solidarity, but also for the defence and dissemination of its cultural values to preserve its identity.
The Cuban Ambassador assured the diplomatic mission's support for this activity as part of cultural diplomacy.
