The Workers’ Party of Turkey (TİP) held a Panel of Solidarity against U.S. imperialism, in which it reaffirmed its strong support for the peoples of Cuba and Venezuela, as well as its commitment to the defense of sovereignty and the self-determination of nations.
During the event, party representatives denounced the policies of aggression, sanctions, and blockade imposed by the United States against both countries, and highlighted the importance of strengthening international solidarity among peoples. In this regard, they reiterated that Cuba continues to face a prolonged economic blockade that affects the daily lives of its people.
The meeting was attended by the Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Ankara, Oscar Redondo Ramos, who engaged with participants and expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown toward the Cuban people.
