Officials from the Cuban Embassy in Grenada participated in welcoming the Venezuelan training ship Simón Bolívar, at the invitation of the Venezuelan ambassador to that country, Jorge Guerrero Veloz. The event took place in the port of Grenada's capital and was attended by local authorities and other diplomatic representatives.
The Simón Bolívar training ship, belonging to the Bolivarian Navy of Venezuela, is recognized for its training missions and as a symbol of friendship and cooperation among the peoples of the Caribbean and Latin America.
