Cairo, April 24, 2026. As part of the “My Signature for the Homeland” campaign, members of the State Mission gathered at the Cuban Embassy in Egypt to sign a pledge reaffirming their opposition to war and the blockade, as well as their firm commitment to defending the nation.
The event, presided over by the Cuban Ambassador to Egypt, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, also served as a forum to denounce the policy of hatred and the continuous threats of military aggression against Cuba.
With their signatures, the participants expressed the firmest and most resolute condemnation of any policy contrary to the life and rights of the Cuban people, as called for on April 19 by the First Secretary of the Party’s Central Committee and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, to bring the truth about Cuba to every corner of the globe.
