Zambia's Minister of Labour and Safety Receives the Cuban Ambassador.
Lusaka, March 21, 2026. TV1 Zambia reported on the meeting between Zambia's Minister of Labour and Safety, the Honorable Brenda Mwila Tambatamba, and the Cuban Ambassador to Zambia and Malawi, H.E. Marileydis Dueñas Morales, and Mr. Wellington Chibebe, Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Zambia and Malawi. They discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities in Zambia by leveraging Cuba's social inclusion model and the ILO's technical expertise in Zambia to create more equitable employment opportunities.
