The Office of the Vocational Education Commission and the Association for the Promotion of Thai Silk and Culture signed a memorandum of understanding to expand cooperation in vocational education and the development of textile design and Thai silk. The agreement supports training in traditional textile arts, while promoting Thai silk through educational programs and cultural activities.
The signing ceremony was attended by diplomats, principals of vocational schools from across Thailand, representatives of the Association for the Promotion of Thai Silk and Culture, and government officials.
The agreement is part of preparations for the 15th Thai Silk Festival 2026, during which vocational students will create silk outfits for diplomats, honorary consuls, and consular representatives participating in the event’s fashion shows, inspired by the cultures and traditions of their respective countries.
