Cuban Ambassador Attends Cultural Gala for Russia Day

Islamabad, 10 June 2026. A truly cultural gala marked the celebration of Russia Day organised by the Russian Embassy in the capital.

With the participation of the President of Pakistan, Mr Asif Ali Zardari, as special guest and keynote speaker, attendees were able to enjoy Russia’s rich culture and the strength of its diplomacy.

The Cuban Ambassador, Damián Cordero Torres, had the opportunity to congratulate His Excellency Albert P. Khorev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation, on the grand celebration and, at the same time, to thank him for his nation’s invaluable support and solidarity with Cuba, a country under blockade but dignified and always ready to defend its sovereignty.
