Airport Authorities recognize Cuban health professionals

Cuban doctors who participated in a health fair in Grenada received a special recognition from the airport authorities, a gesture symbolizing the gratitude of Grenadian society for the Island’s medical collaboration.

Cuba’s healthcare cooperation in Grenada has had a decisive impact for decades, with medical brigades providing primary care, emergency assistance, and training for local professionals. These contributions have strengthened Grenada’s health system and ensured access to medical services in communities that previously lacked adequate coverage.

Beyond direct care, Cuban collaboration has promoted training programs and scholarships for young Grenadians in universities of the Greater of the Antilles, enabling the education of new generations of doctors and specialists. This joint effort has consolidated health as one of the strongest pillars of bilateral relations between Cuba and Grenada.
