Cuban Ambassador signs book of condolences at the Embassy of Qatar

Islamabad, 15 July 2026. The Cuban Ambassador, Damián Cordero Torres, visited the Embassy of the State of Qatar in this capital to sign the book of condolences following the death of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Emir of the State of Qatar.

During the solemn visit, the Cuban ambassador was received by protocol officials from that diplomatic mission and expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Embassy, the government and the people of Cuba, recalling that the Father Emir of Qatar had a deep friendship with Fidel and that his legacy of brotherhood and cooperation with Cuba will be remembered forever.
