With the presence of the Minister of Culture of Barbados, Stephen Lashley, the Cuban delegation that visits the country for the celebrations of the 45th Anniversary of bilateral relations, presided by the Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party, José Ramón Balaguer, and the ambassadors of Cuba and Venezuela, the Premiere of the new documentary "Faces of Pain" was made about the terrorist attack against Cubana's plane in the Barbadian coasts in October of 1976, of the Venezuelan director Ernesto Segovia, music by Ali Alejandro Primera, who traveled to Bridgetown for this special occasion.

In his opening remarks, the Director referred the investigative effort during several months and the numerous interviews with the relatives of the victims in Cuba, who at the same time showed the pain of the children and relatives of the victims of the plane that exploded in full flight, they also expressed their renewed spirit and the call for justice, because this has not come after 41 years of impunity, a fact that increases the pain, accompanied by impotence to observe that the intellectual author of the crime continues to walk freely through the streets of Miami, under the protection of the Empire that sponsored and financed it.

For his part, the singer and musician of the film, Ali Alejandro Primera, took the stage to interpret the song in the background, making the audience vibrate with a deep anti-imperialist sentiment and solidarity with the Cuban Revolution. The above was also noted in the words of the Venezuelan ambassador, Francisco Pérez Santana, who dedicated the presentation to the people of Martí and Fidel, on behalf of the people of Bolívar and Chávez.

The event was also recognized by the Cuban ambassador, Francisco Fernández, who at the inauguration of the cultural gala celebrating 45 years of relations with Barbados and CARICOM, said that he immediately accepted the initiative of the Venezuelan Embassy and arranged for the Premiere to be the first section of that special night dedicated to the Caribbean cultural integration, in which Cuba and Venezuela are deeply committed.
