Indonesia, March 20, 2018. Today, the Third Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Indonesia, Michael González Castro, gave a conference on the process of updating the Cuban Economic and Social model at the BINUS University in Indonesia.
The Deputy Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer, Prof. Dr. Tirta Mursitama welcomed the Cuban diplomat and appreciated the implementation of these cooperation and exchange projects, which satisfy the growing interest of the students in the Latin American region, with emphasis in Cuba. In addition, the Lecturer Specialist Dr. Lili Yulyadi thanked the presentation, as a source of direct information on the Cuban economic, political and social model, a country of which they have reference from the historical friendship between Fidel Castro and the founding father of Indonesia, Sukarno.
