NIGERIA, March 26, 2018. At the diplomatic headquarters of Cuba in Nigeria, a meeting of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba was held on the morning of March 15, 2018 in which 16 leaders or representatives of the different associations that make up the group were present. The main objective of this meeting was the organization of the Sixth Regional Conference of Solidarity with Cuba to be held on this occasion in Nigeria.
They emphasized the need to defend the interests of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba and not the individual interests of each group. They created an Organizing Committee, made up of 5 people, to follow up on all the issues and guarantee from the beginning the fulfillment of all the activities to be carried out.
The Cuban side suggested that they inform the Government about the organization of the Conference; the preparation of an Activity Plan with an execution date and those responsible for each action; as well as the circulation, with enough time in advance, to other countries of the realization of said Conference with a defined date and place.
