The Deputy Minister of Health of Cuba, Dr. Marcia Cobas and the delegation that accompanied her made a tour by the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, a place where the Cuban doctors based in the Ghanaian capital work. In that modern institution she was received by the Deputy Minister of Health of Ghana, Hon. Kingsley Aboagye-Gyedu, who headed the delegation of his country to the Convention Cuba Salud 2018, held in Havana. In a brief meeting both Deputy Ministers exchanged about new forms of bilateral cooperation.
On the same date, the Cuban Deputy Minister of Health held a fruitful exchange with the members of the Cuban Medical Brigade, who work in the Greater Accra, Eastern and Volta regions. During the meeting, the Deputy Minister highlighted the human content of the work performed by Cuban doctors. At the meeting were present the staff of the Embassy of Cuba headed by the Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González.
