Namibia, July 18th, 2018- Cuba's Ambassador to Namibia, Giraldo Mazola, gave the rector of the School of the SWAPO, Marco Hausiko, a donation of books from the Pathfinder Publishing House.
The Cuban diplomat explained to the authorities of the party school that the donation was part of the efforts of the Higher School of the Communist Party of Cuba "Ñico López" to support the development of its Namibian counterpart.
The rector Hausiko, who in turn is the Deputy Secretary General of the Party, deeply thanked the gesture, both the embassy and the PCC and Pathfinder.
The fifty or so copies donated include speeches and books by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, Ernesto Che Guevara and African leaders, such as Thomas Sankara.
This is the second donation made by the Cuban embassy to this Namibian institution.
