The Hague, September 3, 2018. The Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands took `part for the second consecutive year in the Embassy Festival, a good opportunity to promote Cuba´s outstanding products such as rum, tobacco and coffee, and sectors such as tourism and the advances of biotechnology in Cuba.
The tasting of typical Cuban food and traditional cocktails such as "Mojito" and "Cuba libre" were also part of the attractions of the stand of Cuba in this beautiful festival in which thousands of Dutch and foreigners of more than 60 nationalities participate, including diplomats accredited in the Netherlands, friends of the solidarity with Cuba, businessmen and Cuban residents.
The Cuban party was headlined by the SALBAME Orchestra (SALSA-BACHATA-MERENGUE), whose members hail from the Netherlands, Latin American and the Caribbean, directed by the Cuban resident in the Netherlands Hubert Walter Tellez, who performed songs from the repertoire of traditional Cuban and Dutch music that made the delights of all those attending.
