With a symbolic assault on Cuban medical personnel working in the Modern Medical Complex of Georgetown, the Embassy of Cuba in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines organized a Toast for the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, in order to celebrate the important date.
In her speech, Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino said that the Cuban Revolution, at 60 years old, shines with dignity, a splendid maturity, to which it has arrived without giving up and without renouncing its principles, no matter how strong the winds of adversities have been.
The diplomat also expressed that the successful relay in the direction of the State, after the General Elections of April 2017, the elaboration and popular debate, inside and outside the country, of a new and modern Constitution, which will be submitted to Referendum on February 24th are, among many others, irrefutable proofs of the fidelity of the Cuban people to their history, to the Revolution, to their historical leaders, to Fidel and to his conviction that a better world is not only possible, but that it is on the way.
Within the framework of this jubilant meeting, the Embassy and the collaborators renewed their commitment to continue with the work of the heroes and martyrs who defended the homeland standing
The consecrated collective of the CDI of Georgetown, that due to its geographical location and the characteristics of the work in the vital Vincentian health institution, has a permanent working relationship with the Center, enjoyed the exchange with the Mission in an atmosphere of joy and with a very Cuban menu.
