Cuban Ambassador José Manuel Galego Montano was received at the Foreign Ministry by the new Permanent Secretary of the Fijian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Raijieli Taga, with whom he held a fruitful and enjoyable exchange on bilateral relations and multilateral support between the two countries.

Monrovia, June 6, 2020 - The Cuban Embassy in Liberia, on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the creation of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Cuba, congratulates all its members whose fundamental mission lies in the preservation of State Security and Internal Order in the country, which harmoniously links the confrontation of criminal and counter-revolutionary activities with the prevention of these phenomena, applying with flexibility educational, prophylactic and preventive procedures.

With a political-cultural patriotic evening, the Cuban Embassy and the Cuban Medical Brigade in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines commemorated the 66th anniversary of the heroic deed of July 26, 1953.

After an introductory presentation by the Head of the Cuban Medical Brigade, Dr. Nelson Vicente Díaz Lobo, the attendees had the opportunity to listen to the speech of the Cuban Public Health Minister, Dr. José Angel Portal Miranda, during the 72nd World Health Assembly.

The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Environment  of St. Vincent and the Grenadines commemorated the first anniversary of the Modern Georgetown Medical and Diagnostic Center with a ceremony for a year of medical excellence.

Luke Browne, Minister of Health, referred to the permanent expansion of the services offered by the Center, to the process of improvement of medical care and equipment, and at the same time he praised the performance of the 22 Cuban health professionals who work there.

THE CONTINUITY OF THE IDEALS OF THE REVOLUTION IN THE NEW GENERATIONS OF CUBANS IS THE PROOF OF ITS AUTHENTICITY

Cuban Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino was received by Desiree Richards and Cyprian Neehall, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the national newspaper " Vincentian" at the newspaper's headquarters.

During the warm and fraternal meeting, the parties reviewed many current Cuban issues.

THE EMBASSY AND CUBAN COLLABORATORS IN SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES CELEBRATE THE 60th ANNIVERSARY OF THE TRIUMPH OF THE REVOLUTION

With a symbolic assault on Cuban medical personnel working in the Modern Medical Complex of Georgetown, the Embassy of Cuba in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines organized a Toast for the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, in order to celebrate the important date.

 In her speech, Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino said that the Cuban Revolution, at 60 years old, shines with dignity, a splendid maturity, to which it has arrived without giving up and without renouncing its principles, no matter how strong the winds of adversities have been.
