Castries, January 22nd ,2019.. The Honorable Sarah Flood-Beaubrun, Minister responsible for External Affairs of Saint Lucia received the Cuban Ambassador to this country, Alejandro Simancas. The meeting, which was held at the Office of the Department of External Affairs, allowed the two dignitaries to review principal aspects of the bilateral agenda, emphasizing cooperation in different areas such as Medicine, Sports and Construction. They confirmed the excellent state of bilateral relations; which mark the 40th anniversary since they were established this year, and which are characterized by solidarity and cooperation. Likewise, they recognized the great development of relations between Cuba and CARICOM and the contribution that Saint Lucia has made in this respect.
