Cuba in Indonesia

Information from the Revolutionary Government on the posthumous tribute to Cuban combatants fallen in the line of duty in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on January 15, the population will have access to the headquarters of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, where the mortal remains of our combatants will be on display.

On Thursday, January 15, 2026, the mortal remains of the 32 combatants who heroically fell during the criminal attack perpetrated by the government of the United States against the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will arrive in the Homeland.

There are no conversations with the U.S. government, except for technical contacts in the area of migration.

We have always been willing to hold a serious and responsible dialogue with the different U.S. governments, including the current one, on the basis of sovereign equality, mutual respect, principles of International Law, reciprocal benefit without interference in internal affairs, and with full respect for our independence.

Since September last year, Cuba has been denouncing the United States’ hegemonic and criminal plans, and its aggressive actions against Venezuela and the region. We have clearly exposed the serious and unpredictable consequences of the U.S. government’s irresponsible behavior for the political, social, and economic stability of Latin America and The Caribbean, and for international peace and stability in general.

 

Cuban Ambassador Received by the Vice Governor of West Java Province.

Bandung, December 23, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba to Indonesia, Dagmar González Grau, paid an official visit to Bandung on December 23, 2025, where she held a meeting with Erwan Setiawan, Vice Governor of West Java Province. During the meeting, discussions focused on the possibilities of cooperation in the sectors of health, education, environment, and disaster risk management. They also spoke about the possibility of developing activities in 2026, the Year of the Centennial of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

Bandung, December 22, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba to Indonesia, Dagmar González Grau, paid an official visit to the city of Bandung on December 23, 2025, where she held a meeting with Muhammad Farhan, Mayor of Bandung.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the possibilities of cooperation in the sectors of health, education, environment, and disaster risk management. They also spoke about the possibility of developing activities in 2026, the Year of the Centennial of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
