Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia Received by the President of BRIN
JAKARTA, 15 September 2025. The President (with ministerial rank) of Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Laksana Tri Handoko received the Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia, Dagmar González Grau.
During the meeting, they reviewed the status of ongoing initiatives stemming from the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, signed between CITMA and BRIN in September 2004.
They also discussed other potential areas of cooperation, including those that could be developed within the framework of ASEAN.
The Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia is received by Ahmad Muzani, President of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of Indonesia.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Indonesia, Dagmar González Grau, was received by Ahmad Muzani, President of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029. The Ambassador expressed her gratitude for this meeting, where they discussed the good bilateral relations between Cuba and Indonesia, the values that unite both nations and the beginning of these relations 65 years ago, marked by a close friendship between Sukarno and Fidel Castro.

On Friday, May 30, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the US Chargé d'Affaires to renew his attention regarding the meddling and unfriendly conduct he has displayed since arriving in Cuba, which is unbecoming of a diplomat and disrespectful to the Cuban people.
