57th Anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian States (ASEAN)

Jakarta, August 8, 2024 - We congratulate the Association of Southeast Asian States (ASEAN) and its Member States on the 57th Anniversary of the founding of the Organization.

Cuba reiterates its willingness to strengthen ties with ASEAN in multiple areas, particularly economic-commercial and cooperation areas.

Presentation of Credential Letters to the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.

Jakarta, August 8, 2024-. Ambassador Dagmar González Grau presented today to  the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, the Letters of Credence that accredit her as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Indonesia.

The ceremony was held jointly with Ambassadors from nine other countries.

The List of States Allegedly Sponsoring Terrorism runs counter to the fundamental principles and peremptory norms of International Law, including international solidarity.

The process by which the designation for said list is made is neither clear nor transparent.

Dagmar González Grau, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Cuba to ASEAN, participated in a briefing offered by the Secretary General of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on the Outcomes of the 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting/Post Ministerial Conferences (AMM/PMC) and related meetings.

The indonesian press highlights the prestige of the Cuban Cigars

Jakarta, February 20 - The digital newspaper "Media Indonesia" published an article highlighting the sales of Cuban cigars in international markets.

The text mentions a 31% increase in exports last year, as the global demand for luxury products rose. It specifies that the sales volume of exports for this commodity reached 721 million U.S. dollars or 11 trillion Indonesian rupiahs.
