With the management of the wholesale tour operator Daytours Caribbean, Azerbaijani tourism began to increase its presence in Cuba since the beginning of this year 2019.
In conversation between the Cuban ambassador and the directors of this agency based in Istanbul and Havana, Altug Ugurola and Dayana Barreiro, it was learned that with the promotion held in Baku, in the fall of 2018, an interest has been awakened in this Caucasian nation for the Island.
The Cuban ambassador highlighted that the Havana and Varadero destinations conquer the Azeri tourists and that Cuba is admired here as well as for its excellent beaches and climate, for its history, customs and culture.
Dayana also stressed that inserting the destination Cuba in the different digital platforms and guaranteeing the stay of travelers who use the Baku-Istanbul-Havana route, or any other country in the area that fly with the airline Turkish Airlines Inc, remain as the first fruits of your agency.
Cuba is the result of the mixture of multiple cultures, mergers of races and customs that gave rise to one of the most unique and fascinating Caribbean destinations.
