NIGERIA, January 31, 2019. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Carlos Trejo Sosa, received in his Residence the President of the Anglo-Nigerian Association for the Blind, Danlami U. Basharu.
During the meeting they maintained a cordial dialogue, which allowed the exchange of information on the national and international context, including the situation in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The Ambassador, for his part, provided updated information on the current Cuban reality and the achievements that our country has reached in recent years in different areas, despite the persistence of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US Government.
Also present were a director of the Committee against trafficking in persons in Nigeria and the Second Secretary of the Cuban Embassy.
