The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González paid a visit to the headquarters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), where he was received by his National Chairman, Mr. Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay (Freddie Blay).
The meeting, held in a relaxed atmosphere, allowed to review issues of bilateral interest, and led to progress in future actions that will strengthen relations at the level of party, government and society in general.
The New Patriotic Party is currently the main political party in the country; it is in power since January 2017.
From the NPP also participated in the meeting the National First Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Rita Talata Asobayire; the Deputy General Secretary, Mr. Daniel Patrick Nii Laryea Squire; and the International Affairs Director, Mr. Emmanuel Attafuah-Danso.
