The Head of the Cuban mission in the United Arab Emirates, Jorge León Cruz, and Mr. Faisal Diab, General Manager of the Travel Agency Faisal and Tourist Travel, signed a contract for the sale of tourist cards, at the headquarters of the new Embassy of Cuba in Abu Dhabi, whose official inauguration will take place on February 14, 2019.
During the work meeting, the work carried out by the Agency in recent years, which has reached an annual average of more than 300 Emirati tourists and other nationalities traveling to the largest island in the Caribbean, was valued, since they travel annually to Cuba using the services of the Agency that include travel and hotel reservations in all Cuban tourist centers, in coordination with the CUBATUR Agency.
The potentials to promote ties between Cubana de Aviación and the national airlines Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways were also analyzed to help facilitate travel to Cuba from the United Arab Emirates.
