The Ambassador of Cuba participates in the celebrations of Al-Quds Day

The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt, Tania Aguiar Fernandez was invited by Naser Kanani, Ambassador of Iran in Egypt, to participate in the Iftar held on the occasion of Al-Quds Day, which takes place on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

Al-Quds Day is a holiday that takes place in Arab countries since it was established in Iran in 1979 by Ayatollah Khomeini, after the Islamic revolution that took place in that country. The fundamental objective of this day is to reaffirm the solidarity of the Arab world with the Palestinian cause and to denounce the unjust Israeli occupation.
