Istanbul, September 2, 2019. The first deputy minister of the Ministry of Industries of Cuba, Eloy Álvarez Martínez, began a working visit to Turkey to exchange with Turkish economic-commercial authorities and business leaders, and participate in the high-level segment of the 88th Izmir International Fair, the most important trade fair event in the Eurasian country, that begins on September 6.
Álvarez Martínez is accompanied by executives of Cuban main companies associated with foreign trade. The Cuban participation in the fair is an expression of interest in expanding economic, commercial and bilateral ties in areas of interest of both parties.
The Caribbean representation program envisages activities in Istanbul and Izmir, the first and third provinces of Turkey in economic terms. (EmbaCuba Turkey)
