Kingston, Jamaica, 1 September 2019. Cuban professionals who render their services at the Public Hospital and other health facilities in this capital officially opened the Scientific Forums organized by the Cuban Medical Mission in Jamaica. For several weeks, other Cuban health collaborators will continue holding these events in other regions of the Jamaican geography.
Doctors and nurses presented their research papers and exchanged on the various topics that were subject to analysis. It served to highlight the commitment, affection, humanism and high technical quality involved in the services provided in Jamaica by all professionals from the Greatest Island in the Antilles.
At the closing ceremony, the Ambassador of Cuba, H.E Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández, and the National Coordinator of the Cuban Medical Brigade, Dr. Armando Arronte Villamarin, congratulated the speakers, helped to award those works that will be presented at the National Scientific Forum and praised the quality of the research carried out, which will contribute to improve the impact of the presence of the Cuban Medical Brigade in this sister nation.
