Namibia, September 9th, 2019 - The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, H.E. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Sidenio Acosta Aday, at the headquarters of that institution.
The Cuban diplomat updated the Namibian leader of the latest measures taken by the United States to increase the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
For its part, the Namibian leader thanked the information received and reiterated the solidarity and support of her country towards the Cuban cause.
Likewise, both agreed to highlight the excellent state of the historical bilateral relations between both countries.
Aldo Fuentes, an official of the Cuban Embassy, and Frieda Guios, a Cuban specialist in the Namibian Foreign Ministry, also participated in the meeting.
