Jamaica says No to the US blockade against Cuba

NewYork, USA, 6 November 2019. “The blockade is the main obstacle to the sustainable development of Cubans and their economy,” said Ambassador Courtenay Rattard, Permanent Representative of the Permanent Mission of Jamaica to the United Nations, in the context of this international organization's General Assembly.

With this statement, the Caribbean diplomat joined other thirty speakers who spoke on 6 November to express the reasons for their States and international organizations' vote against the unfair and genocidal policy that the United States has imposed on Cuba for six decades.
