Kuala Lumpur, February 26- The Cuban ambassador to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, highlighted the values of the medical program in an interview with Bernama Radio, during the informative activities for the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Malaysia.
The diplomat commented on the cooperation sustained by both countries during these years of relations, in the sectors of culture, sports, biotechnology and human resources training, indicating this collaboration as the most important.
He explained to the audience that Cuba was proud to have contributed to the training of 33 young Malaysians among the 35,787 graduates of 141 countries and stressed that not only the students returned to Malaysia with the knowledge, but also with the acquired values of providing services to the most needy
He concluded that as part of the aggressiveness of the United States government against Cuba, there is a campaign to discredit Cuban medical collaboration, which above all has been humanistic and supportive, also known worldwide.
Accompanied by the ambassador, the director of the Americas of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry, Mr. Amarjit Singh, who invited Malaysian businessmen to look at Cuba as a business partner for its stability, the quality of its education, the opportunities presented, as well as well as to support the island against the blockade.
