Kingston, Jamaica, 27 February 2020. A new group of Cuban health professionals arrived this afternoon in this capital to provide medical services in hospitals and public health centres in Jamaica.
This happens just a few days after the renewal of the Agreement for Technical Cooperation in Health between the Ministries of Public Health of Cuba and Jamaica.
The Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica and authorities of the Ministry of Health in this sister Caribbean nation offered a cordial welcome to the thirty-eight Cuban health professionals, including doctors, nurses and biomedical engineers, who will soon start rendering their services.
