Cuban Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates presents Credentials

Last Thursday, February 13, 2020, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the United Arab Emirates,HE Mr. Roberto Blanco Domínguez, presented his Credentials to the Vice President, Prime Minister and Emir of Dubai, his Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The Cuban diplomat, the first Ambassador of our country resident in the Arab nation, was in charge of the thank-you speech, on behalf of the seven Ambassadors who presented their Credentials. In his speech, he thanked the Emirati government for the support provided and expressed interest in continuing to strengthen bilateral ties between Cuba and the United Arab Emirates, as well as between all the countries represented and the host country.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his readiness to continue strengthening his nation's relations with the governments of the present States, for which he said they had the full support of the Emirati cabinet.
