In the course of this year, we have witnessed the adoption of new sanctions and shameful maneuvers by the United States Government against Cuba.
The group of Cubans residing in Denmark express our condemn against the decision of the United States Department of State to include the Republic of Cuba in the list of nations that supposedly do not contribute to the US interests in the fight against terrorism.
This policy once again accentuates the continuing displays of hostility from the Donald Trump administration.
Such a decision is more absurd and unacceptable when the United States maintains a complicit silence before the events against our Embassy in Washington, refraining from taking actions against terrorist people and groups based in United States territory that incite violence against Cuba, its institutions and its people.
The examples of aggression and hostility are exacerbated by the inhuman, iron and cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade at a time when Cuba, like the rest of the world, faces the consequences of the crisis generated by the pandemic of the Covid -19.
We as Cubans residing in Denmark express our support for the overwhelming rejection made by President Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez to this cynical accusation and we join the MINREX statement to condemn terrorism and political manipulation against Cuba.
