The Ambassador of Cuba paid a courtesy call to the new Minister of Public Service of Guyana

Georgetown, August 17, 2020. The Cuban Ambassador to Guyana, Narciso Reinaldo Amador Socorro, paid a courtesy call to H.E. Sonia Savitri Parag, new Minister of Public Service of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.

The visit took place in a cordial atmosphere. The focal point of the talk was geared to continue strengthening the scholarship program that has benefited thousands of Guyanese, particularly in the Health Sector, for more than 40 years.

The Minister expressed the appreciation and interest of the Guyanese Government to continue training human resources in Cuba, as well as to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between both countries.
