And today we were surprised by the Laos-Cuba Friendship Association. Its President, Dr. Chaleun Yiapahoer, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and Minister of the Prime Minister's office, together with the Vice President and other members of the Association's leadership, came to our residence to bring us a bouquet of flowers and congratulate us on the 55th Anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Cuba. The visit also served to finalize details about the upcoming inauguration of the "Amistad Laos-Cuba" secondary and pre-university school and the first monument in this country to our National Hero José Marti, both to be inaugurated this October. As is customary in our meetings, the feelings of brotherhood and solidarity between our countries and peoples are breathed in every word that is pronounced, in every gesture, in every smile.
