Filipino Council for Peace and Solidarity, nominates Henry Reeve Brigade for Nobel Prize

Kuala Lumpur, October 6- The honorary president of the Philippine Council for Peace and Solidarity, Antonio Paris, signed the letter of the organization that nominates the Henry Reeve Brigade to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

The non-governmental organization argued the proposal based on the work carried out by the medical brigade to treat more than 355,000 patients worldwide and the lives saved in more than 30 countries.

With this nomination and that of the PHILCUBA solidarity organization, the Philippines joins the international demand to reward the work of Cuban doctors who have once again demonstrated the altruism and solidarity of the Cuban health system.
