The vice president of the Palestinian National Council and deputy secretary-general of the FDLP calls for the broadest possible global solidarity campaign with Cuba to break the U.S. blockade imposed against it, as a guarantee of security and stability for the Cuban people and for the peoples of the world.

The Vice President of the Palestinian National Council, Ali Faisal, has sent a message to Cuban Ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz, in which he salutes the resistance of the Cuban people and their leadership in the face of the brutal U.S. blockade:

Ambassador Jorge P. León Cruz signed the book of condolences opened at the Qatari Embassy in Lebanon, expressing, on behalf of the Cuban government and people, sincere condolences to the brotherly State of Qatar, its government, and its people, extended to the family and friends of His Highness the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

On Saturday, July 4, members of the Cuban community living in Lebanon participated in the First Virtual Forum convened by the Young Communist League of Cuba (UJC). The event saw the active participation of around one hundred young Cubans from Cuba and across all continents, representing 44 youth organizations in 32 countries.

León Cruz was received by the Director General for Multilateral Affairs of Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Mr. Salim Baddoura, and the two held a productive meeting in which they reviewed the excellent state of bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries.
