Oslo, Norway .- Militants of the Communist Party of Norway (NKP by its acronym in the local language), condemned once again the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba for more than 60 years.
The demonstrations of support for the Caribbean island took place during a seminar held by its members in the city of Kristiansand. The call comes in the context of the resolution that will be voted again this June 23 in the United Nations General Assembly, condemning the economic siege against Cuba.
This will be the twenty-ninth time that the members of this international organization have spoken out on the subject. A resolution condemning the embargo have been adopted at the last 28 meetings of its General Assembly. The debate for the 75th period was postponed to this year at the request of Cuba, due to the complex situation of Covid-19. (Embacuba Noruega)
