Ambassador of Cuba in Sri Lanka receives on the occasion of the Moncada anniversary "History will absolve me" in Tamil
On the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the "Day of National Rebellion" in Cuba, Ambassador Andrés Marcelo González Garrido received the activist of solidarity with Cuba Gayathri Ganathapillai, who presented him with a copy of "History will Absolve me" in Tamil language, translated by her.
Present at the delivery of this transcendental document was Tissa Vitarana, member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka and President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship Sri Lanka-Cuba, who also received a copy of it.
In the meeting the legacy of Comandant in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz was revealed and the solidarity with Cuba.
The Tamil language is considered one of the oldest in the world, it is spoken by around seventy million people and in Sri Lanka, where it is one of the official languages, twenty-eight percent of its population.
