The education of children and young people cannot be neglected in these times of Covid-19. Under distance education conditions, information and computer-aided teaching activities are to be developed by our teachers during this first stage of the 2021-2022 school year. When the epidemiological situation allows them to return to the classroom, it will be time to systematize the contents and provide special support to those students who face greater challenges, with strict observance of sanitary measures to avoid a re-outbreak of the disease.
Cooperation between Cuba and Jamaica in the field of general education began in November 1997. With the arrival of new teachers from the Greatest Island in the Antilles, Jamaica continues to enjoy the benefits of Cuba’s pedagogical tradition and teaching improvement methods implemented in our country to continue raising education standards.
