Embassy of Cuba in Kenya commemorates the International Women's Day

Nairobi, March 8, 2022- The Embassy of Cuba in Kenya celebrates this International Women's Day honouring its female diplomats and workers, who have been an example of dedication and love in every task they have developed.

 

 

On this day, the Embassy dedicates a few words to acknowledge the role women play in everyday life, at home, at work, at school, in the community and the development of society at large. We remember today with special significance those historic women who guide us from eternity: Mariana, Amalia, Clodomira, Lidia, Haydee, Melba, Celia, Vilma and many others whose anonymity do not diminish the value of their exploits in the buildup of the Cuban nationality.
