Cuban Embassy in South Africa pays tribute to the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz
Pretoria, August 13, 2023.- The Cuban Embassy in South Africa, together with members of the collaboration brigades working in the country, paid a heartfelt tribute to the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, on the 97th anniversary of his birth. Dr. Juan Delgado Bustillo, was the keynote speaker that recalled Fidel's imprint in the history of Cuba and Africa.
South Africa celebrates today the National Womens Day
Pretoria, August 09, 2023.- Today South Africa celebrates National Women's Day, in homage to the 1956 Great Women's March, in which thousands of women marched to Union Buildings to protest against legislation aimed at tightening the apartheid government's control over black women's movements in urban areas.
Delegation from MES visits the University of South Africa
Pretoria, August 05, 2023.- The delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education (MES) visited the University of South Africa, where they exchanged with authorities of the University and the various institutes attached to it. The meeting laid the groundwork for strengthening bilateral relations between Cuban universities and this great institution.

Pretoria, August 04, 2023.- The delegation from the Cuban Ministry of Higher Education (MES) visiting South Africa held a fruitful meeting with officials from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Officials from the South African Department of Higher Education and Training also participated in the meeting.
National Allied Health and Education Workers Union of South Africa approves resolution in support of Cuba against the blockade
Ekurhuleni, August 02, 2023 - The Tshwane Regional Congress of NEHAWU, which met on August 1 and 2 in Birchwood, approved a resolution in support of Cuba against the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by the United States against our country. The document also states the commitment of the trade union organization and its affiliates to increase solidarity with the Caribbean island.
