Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis meets with Cuban diplomats and health professionals.

Within the framework of the commemorations of the 28th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and St. Kitts and Nevis, and the 60th anniversary of international Cuban medical collaboration, an emotional meeting took place at the headquarters of the Government of this Federation, between the Honorable Prime Minister Dr. Terrance M. Drew,  the diplomatic staff of the Embassy of Cuba and members of the Cuban Medical Brigade.

Minister Maynard meets with Ambassador of Cuba to Saint Kitts and Nevis

The Honourable Minister Konris Maynard, in charge of the portfolios of Public Infrastructure and Utilities, Transport, Information, Communication and Technology and Post, met this morning with the ambassador of Cuba to Saint Kitts and Nevis, David Rivero Pérez, on a work visit. During the meeting, both parties highlighted the good state of the historical links that unite their countries and the willingness to continue strengthening them. In this sense, possible new avenues of Cuban cooperation were evaluated.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Permanent Secretary of Education of the Federation held a meeting.

On the morning of this Friday, at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Basseterre, the Head of the diplomatic mission, David Rivero Pérez, and the Permanent Secretary of Education, Lisa Pistana met to review issues of common interest.

The Nevis Director of Disaster Management, Mr. Brian Dyer, was received at the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Saint Kitts and Nevis by Ambassador David Rivero, on the eve of his trip to Cuba, to participate in an event convened by the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Climate Change (IPCC), within the framework of the V International Conference "For the Balance of the World", sponsored and organized by the José Martí Program of the Ministry of Culture of Cuba.
