Tribute paid in Guyana to the National Heroe of Cuba

Guyana, January 28, 2021. Cuban and Guyanese workers from the Cuban Embassy, along with a representation of the Medical Collaboration Brigade, paid tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Julián Martí Pérez, on the one hundred and sixty-eight years of his birth.

Tribute to Martí in Jakarta

Indonesia. 26th of January. On the occasion of commemorating this Sunday 28, the 165th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban national hero José Martí, the Cuban embassy in Jakarta celebrated an evening of homage. Among the present were the president of the Committee for Indonesian-Cuban Parliamentary Cooperation, Daryatmo Mardiyanto, the deputy director of the Directorate of America of Foreign Ministry Bernadeta J. Pratiwi, the vice president of the Indonesian-Cuba Darli Friendship Association, and students representing of seven of Jakarta´s universities.

Statement delivered by H.E Mr. Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios Ambassador of Cuba to Austria on the occasion of the 165th Anniversary of José Martí´s birth

Compatriots,

The historical memory and the Latin American duty bring us once again to pay tribute to one of the most universal men, poets, thinkers, and revolutionaries: José Martí. In this occasion, we do it at the forthcoming 165th anniversary of his birth this 28 January.
